DIY: Can Tab Necklace
Hey lovelies! I hope you are all are doing well. Sorry for the lack of posts... The end of the semester is nearing the end so it's getting crazy. Anyway, I thought I try to alleviate my stress by posting another DIY for you all. It's super simple and doesn't take much time to make. Have a look see (click images to enlarge)...
What you'll need:
gold spray paint, can tabs from a soda can or soup can (for a bigger tab), glue gun, and a plastic gem (can be bought from Michael's)
Directions:
1. Spray paint BOTH sides of the tabs. Make sure to give them ample amount to dry.
2. Take the gem and glue it to the bottom half of the tab.
That's its! String it onto a chain.
TIP: To get a colored gem, just color over it with a sharpie (any you color you want).
Thought I'd let you all know that my posts will be slowing down tremendously in the next couple of weeks because finals are also creeping up. I am gonna need all the strength I have left and fight off the beast that is SENIORITIS. *shakes fist at it* I will post when I can though.

DIY: Chanel Canvas Bag
Sorry that this post is coming a bit late...I meant to post this up on Friday but I have been so busy. In honor of Earth Day I thought this would be real appropriate. Here is a way you could spice up your canvas bag for every day wear! I mean who doesn't love canvas bags right?!
Here is what you'll need:
...and don't forget to grab a large round object (like a bowl or cookie holder), a compass would be even better.
Directions:
1. First you will need to make a Chanel stencil.
a. Trace out two circles onto the cardboard.
b. Use a sharpie so you can better see your work.
c. Go ahead and the interior of the logo. (Note: The center of the logo will be a loose piece so you will just have to tap it down onto the bag before you start spray painting the bag.)
2. Next step is to go ahead and tape down the stencil onto the bag with the masking tape making. Make sure the center piece is taped down real good.
3. Lay out some newspapers or an old plastic bag and start spray painting.
...Go ahead and spray on several layers to achieve a really rich and dark color.
That's all there is to it! What do you think?
BELATED HAPPY EARTH DAY AND HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY EVERYBODY!

Kate Bosworth @ Coachella 2011
This woman can do no wrong in fashion. It may be too early to say but this quite possibly may be one of my favorite celebrity Coachella looks thus far! I love the simplicity and how laid-back this look is. LOVE!!
I am so excited that they broadcasted Coachella on YOUTUBE! Even better, I got to catch my Mumford&Sons play. Those guys are super talented. Did you watch? Have any favorites?

Breezy
(Free People top, H&M jeans, Ebay Platform wedge sandals)
Hey guys! Apologies for not having posted in a while. I have been preoccupied with writing this paper for one of my classes and keeping up with my reading and weekly assignments with other classes. I am sure all of you know what I'm talking about. I really can't wait for this semester to be over! I am also soooo glad that it's friday but also sad that I couldn't go to Coachella this year! I have never been and I've been wanting to go since I knew of its existence. There's always next year right? In the mean time, I can't wait to see what everyone who did go decide to wear.
In honor of Coachella weekend, I thought I'd post one of my more hippy outfits... I just fell in love with the lace-up arms and white linen material of this top! It will be perfect for those hot summer days to come.
Hope you all have a great weekend!! I have a few new DIY projects in the works so keep checking in!
